This position will involve providing technical expertise and leadership to guide a variety of projects through the environmental and historic preservation compliance processes for our clients in the private and public sectors. Work with our team of cultural resource professionals to plan, organize, and manage historic resource surveys and other investigative work related to the identification, evaluation, and assessment of effects to historic propertiesPrepare technical reports and associated documentationAssist with the development of proposals and cost estimatesRegularly communicate with clients to keep them informed of project progress, project schedule review, and ensure all project needs are being addressed in a timely manner and within budgetAssist with coordinating project review with state and federal agencies, including various State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs) Master’s degree in historic preservation or a closely related field, such as history, architectural history, or public historyExperience with facilitating consulting party coordination and preparing MOAsExperience with preparing architectural drawings and documentationExceptional research, technical writing, and communication skillsAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamGIS experienceExperience working with the Wisconsin SHPO, Wisconsin Department of Transportation, and/or Minnesota SHPO.
