DESCRIPTIONUnder the general direction of the Vice Chancellor Operations Management and Capital Programs (OMCP) the Associate Vice Chancellor& University Architect for CPM (AVCUA-CPM) is responsible for establishing the strategic direction and overall management of planning, design, and construction for all campus and medical center capital projects and acts as professional advisor to the Vice Chancellor-OMCP, Chancellor, Regents, as requested, and other University officials on matters relating to the design, construction, and cost containment of facilities. Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, planning, project management or related field and/or a combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience in managing organizational change in a complex environment. Expert written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including skill to work effectively with multiple constituencies to advance organizational objectives. a.
