AutoCAD Drafter/Designer

In this role, you will work with AutoCAD and ArcGIS to contribute to permitting, mapping, and construction documentation for telecom providers, utility clients, and municipalities.This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing industry, helping deliver accurate, field-ready plans for critical infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and modify underground and aerial fiber layout drawings using AutoCADGenerate land base prints for field usePrepare detailed utility plan sets for construction activitiesProduce permit drawings in compliance with municipal and permitting authority requirementsPerform mapping and drafting tasks to support telecom and utility designImport/export data between AutoCAD, GIS, and related systemsCompile job books and project documentation packages upon completionCollaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely deliveryRequired Skills & QualificationsProficiency in AutoCAD (required)Ability to produce clear and accurate construction drawings and utility plansExperience preparing permit drawings in compliance with regulationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic understanding of telecommunications or utility layouts (fiber a plus)Ability to manage and work across multiple file types and systemsJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
