Seeking a skilled AutoCAD & Revit Designer to support architectural and engineering design production across a wide range of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality construction documents, coordinating multi-disciplinary drawings, and assisting with design development under the direction of licensed architects and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed architectural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Develop and maintain building models (BIM) for project coordination
Produce construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details
Coordinate drawings with civil, structural, and MEP disciplines
Assist in code compliance documentation (IBC, IRC, IPC, IECC, etc.)
Incorporate redlines and revisions from project managers and consultants
Perform field verification and update drawings to reflect existing conditions
Assist in permit submittals and respond to agency review comments
Maintain drawing standards, templates, and file organization
Support project teams during all phases: schematic design through construction administration
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
Strong understanding of construction documents and detailing
Knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods
Familiarity with applicable building codes and regulations
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in an architectural or engineering firm
Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection
Working knowledge of structural and MEP systems
Experience with permitting processes and agency coordination
Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam, SketchUp, or Navisworks
