Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Architect with 10+ years of IT experience, including 5–7+ years specializing in AWS cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-scale AWS cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience driving cloud transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of overall IT experience with 5–7+ years in AWS cloud architecture.Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale AWS infrastructure.Strong expertise in AWS core services and cloud architecture best practices.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.Strong Linux and Windows systems administration experience.Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.Strong networking knowledge, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, Load Balancers, VPC, and hybrid connectivity.Proficiency in scripting/programming using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), and microservices architecture.Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Strategy

Define and drive the enterprise AWS cloud architecture strategy and roadmap.Design highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises and hybrid environments to AWS.Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and cloud best practices.Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.AWS Infrastructure Design

Architect and implement solutions using AWS services, including:

Design enterprise-grade security architectures using IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, AWS WAF, and AWS Shield.Implement Zero Trust and Least Privilege security models.Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.Infrastructure Automation

Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and scaling.Integrate infrastructure deployments into CI/CD pipelines.Networking & Connectivity

Design and manage complex AWS networking environments, including Multi-VPC architectures and Transit Gateway.Implement secure hybrid connectivity using VPN and AWS Direct Connect.Optimize network performance, security, and latency.DevOps & Platform Engineering

Enable DevOps best practices across development and operations teams.Design containerized and serverless application platforms.Support Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), Docker, and microservices-based architectures.Performance & Cost Optimization

Implement AWS FinOps best practices, including Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and right-sizing strategies.Optimize application performance through auto-scaling, caching, and load balancing.Monitoring & Operations

Implement observability and monitoring using Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS X-Ray, Prometheus, and Grafana.Define SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.Lead incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.
