Job Role: Banner Saas Architect

Location: Houston, TX- Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Lead solution architecture for Banner SaaS integrations across student, finance, HR, and related systemsDefine integration patterns, data contracts, mapping standards, error handling, logging, and reconciliation approachesAssess current-state interfaces and recommend future-state designsPartner with business analysts, developers, client IT teams, and third-party vendors to move integrations into build-ready scopeReview technical designs and code to maintain consistency and qualityIdentify dependencies, risks, and environment constraints early in the lifecycleSupport estimation, proposal development, and client-facing discovery discussionsRequired Skills and Experience

Strong experience with Ellucian Banner, preferably including Banner SaaS or Banner modernization programsHands-on experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, flat files, batch interfaces, and middleware-led designsStrong understanding of source-to-target mapping, data transformation, and interface architectureExperience in higher education ERP environmentsAbility to lead technical workshops and communicate clearly with functional and technical stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications

Experience with MuleSoft, Ethos, or similar integration platformsExperience supporting migration from on-prem Banner to SaaSFamiliarity with student systems, reporting, and institutional data flows
