BIM Technician

ClotfelterSamokar Architects is one of Kentucky’s leading architectural design firms focused on elementary, secondary, and higher education. We are seeking an experienced BIM Technician / Drafter who can work independently or as part of a team, has experience working on multiple projects at the same time, utilizes Autodesk Revit proficiently and is willing to help our firm exceed clients’ expectations. The BIM Technician will work with architects and interior designers throughout the design process and are key in the production of drawings and details from schematic design through construction documents.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 year of in-office work experience.Proficient with Revit for detailing & drawing production.Strong understanding of building code requirements.Strong building systems technical knowledge. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Experience assembling, organizing and preparing construction documents.Experience reviewing shop drawings and technical specifications. Ability to produce construction drawings/details that convey the design.Ability to produce construction drawings/details that adhere to code.
