This multi-orbit constellation will consist of optically interconnected satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) and medium Earth orbit (MEO), providing enterprise-grade connectivity for critical operations worldwide.We are seeking a Security SOC Architect/Engineer to design and develop critical components for our next-generation Satellite communications system. The ideal candidate brings expertise in digital architecture, RTL design, and system integration, thriving in a fast-paced environment where innovation meets mission-critical execution.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Design and develop digital hardware architectures for high-throughput satellite communications ASICsCreate and implement RTL code for critical SOC blocks and interfacesContribute to architecture optimization for performance, power, and area trade-offsDevelop implementations for networking protocols and digital signal processing algorithmsCollaborate with verification engineers to ensure robust and reliable designsSupport FPGA prototype development for early validationWork with backend teams throughout the physical implementation processDocument design specifications, architecture decisions, and implementation detailsParticipate in design reviews and technical discussions with cross-functional teamsTroubleshoot and debug complex digital design issuesOptimize designs for timing, power, and area constraintsImplement interfaces between digital hardware and firmware/software componentsResearch and evaluate new architectural approaches to meet evolving requirementsMinimum Qualifications:B.S. or Ph.D. in relevant engineering disciplineExperience with high-speed networking hardware design (10G or above)Background in digital signal processing for communications systemsKnowledge of OFDM, beamforming, or wireless protocolsExperience with FPGA implementation and prototypingUnderstanding of low-power design techniquesFamiliarity with space or defense electronics requirementsTrack record of successful tape-outs in modern process nodesExperience with high-speed SerDes interfacesBackground in 5G, satellite, or other advanced communications systemsCompensation Range for:CA applicants is $264,103.00 - $369,743.85WA applicants is $264,103.00 - $369,743.85Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
