Job description Essential Job Functions Create a Cloud strategy and roadmap working with internal and external partnersDesign document and implement new cloud applications and systemsCollaborate with product and platform teams as appropriate to best understand solutioning needs and ensure best practices are leveragedServe as subject matter expert for company initiatives that require guidance with cloud requirementsCreate proofofconcept solutions using native cloud provider technologies and demonstrate capabilities to product and platform teamsProvide support and technical governance expertise relates to cloud architectures deployment and operationsProtecting the environment by coordinating planning and implementing cloud security and management capabilitiesWork with technology vendors to provide solutions that are effective for the enterpriseEnsure stability in the production environmentDevelop and maintain effective cross functional working relationships with business and IT teamsFlexibility to work varied schedules including occasionally outside of normal business hoursMaintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and potential applicationservice offerings and products Strong understanding of multicloud and hybrid solutionsHandson technical skills in some of the following areas ServerOS management Network management Cloud migration and deployment Database and Middleware management Storage and Virtualization managementStrong understanding of cloud securitymanagement SAMLOAuthOIDC MFA and RBACExperience in architecting and designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure IaaS PaaS and SaaS capabilitiesKnowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation encryption at rest and in transit key management vulnerability assessments application firewalls SIEM etcExperience building and supporting mission critical technology components with DR capabilitiesExperience with multitier system and service design and development for large enterprisesExtensive realworld experience designing technology components for enterprise solutions and defining solution architectures and reference architectures with a focus on cloud technologiesCloud automation regarding userassetservice provisioning including infrastructure as codeUnderstanding of horizontal and vertical scaling best practicesExpertise with best practices for highly available and resilient solutions Skills
