Branch Manager

HUNT Engineers, Architects & Surveyors Rochester, New York

Hunt EAS is seeking a collaborative and strategic leader to serve as Branch Manager for its Rochester, NY office. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this highly visible leadership role oversees approximately 45 employees within a multidisciplinary professional services environment supporting engineering, architecture, transportation, broadband, planning, solar, and infrastructure-related projects.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced operational leader who enjoys team development, business growth, client engagement, and helping shape organizational strategy within a collaborative AEC environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day operations of the Rochester officeSupport financial performance, operational leadership, and strategic growth initiativesOversee multidisciplinary staff development, engagement, and organizational cultureAssist with business development, proposal efforts, and client relationship managementCoordinate with HR, Accounting, Marketing, and IT support functionsRepresent Hunt EAS within the Rochester business and professional communitySupport long-range organizational planning and operational improvement initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

Collaborative, visible, and relationship-oriented leadership styleStrong operational judgment, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience managing multidisciplinary teams and organizational operationsAbility to balance people leadership, business development, and operational prioritiesStrong client service orientation and strategic thinking abilitiesExperience building positive workplace culture and employee engagementKnowledge of the Greater Rochester market and the ability to build and leverage relationships across the region are important attributes for success in this role

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Management, Planning, Marketing, or related field requiredMinimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience within AEC, infrastructure, consulting, professional services, or related environmentsMinimum of five (5) years of leadership or management experience with responsibility for personnel, operations, financial performance, and strategic planningExperience managing teams, budgets, client relationships, and organizational operationsExperience with business development and strategic growth initiatives preferredPE, RA, PLS, PMP, or related credential preferred but not requiredEquivalent combinations of education, professional experience, and demonstrated leadership success may be considered
