The Opportunity

We’re seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development & Industry Partnerships professional to help expand Archive Owl’s presence within the architecture, interior design, construction, and real estate communities.

Founded in Los Angeles, Archive Owl is expanding its relationships and project work across key markets, including New York. We’re looking for someone who can build on that momentum, establish lasting partnerships with leading design and construction professionals, and help shape our next stage of growth.

This is an opportunity for someone who understands the design industry, enjoys building meaningful professional relationships, and wants to play an instrumental role in growing an emerging company.

Our immediate focus is expanding our architectural documentation and reality-capture services through recurring relationships with design studios, builders, general contractors, real estate professionals, and property managers.

As Archive Owl evolves, this position offers the potential to grow alongside the company and contribute to a broader technology-driven business.

You’ll work directly with the founder to help shape our outreach strategy, develop partnerships, and identify opportunities for growth.

What You’ll Do

Develop relationships with architecture firms, interior design studios, builders, general contractors, real estate brokerages, developers, and property managers.
Introduce Archive Owl’s architectural surveying, as-built documentation, and 3D scanning services to prospective clients.
Establish preferred-provider relationships, referral partnerships, and recurring professional accounts.
Identify opportunities for geographic expansion and new service partnerships.
Build and maintain an organized pipeline of prospective clients, relationships, and follow-ups.
Represent Archive Owl within the architecture and design community through professional outreach, networking, and industry events.
Collaborate directly with the founder on business development strategy, positioning, and growth initiatives.
Contribute insights that help shape future technology partnerships and platform adoption.
Who We’re Looking For

Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, client relations, or account management within architecture, interior design, construction, real estate, or a related industry.
An understanding of how architecture and design firms operate and how they select trusted professional partners.
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build lasting professional relationships.
An entrepreneurial, self-directed approach to identifying and developing opportunities.
Strong organizational skills and experience managing relationships through a CRM or similar system.
Genuine interest in architecture, design, the built environment, and emerging technology.
Particularly valuable experience includes:

An established professional network among architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, or real estate professionals.
Architectural product representation, A&D sales, or professional services business development.
Experience helping grow an emerging design, construction, or technology business.
Familiarity with architectural surveying, reality capture, as-built documentation, or BIM.
Experience with AEC technology, PropTech, or software platforms serving design professionals.
An architecture or interior design background is welcome but not required.

Engagement & Growth

This is initially a flexible, part-time opportunity, with responsibilities and scheduling tailored to the candidate’s experience and agreed scope.

Compensation includes a base arrangement and the opportunity for performance-based incentives tied to successful new business and long-term client relationships.

We’re open to experienced industry professionals seeking a fractional engagement, as well as entrepreneurial business development specialists interested in growing into a larger leadership role.

You’ll work directly with the founder, with the opportunity to help shape Archive Owl’s growth strategy, industry partnerships, and expanding market presence.
