CAD Technician

**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and drafting, with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings for a variety of engineering projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Technical Drafting:**
+ Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.
+ Develop schematics, layouts, and detailed plans for construction, manufacturing, and engineering projects.
* **Collaboration:**
+ Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure accurate representation of designs.
+ Participate in project meetings to discuss design concepts and modifications.
* **Quality Assurance:**
+ Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
+ Update and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients.
* **Documentation:**
+ Maintain organized records of all drawings, models, and revisions.
+ Prepare technical documentation and reports as required.
* **Technical Support:**
+ Provide support to engineering teams by preparing presentations and visual aids for project proposals and meetings.
+ Assist with the creation of technical manuals and installation guides.

**Qualifications:**

* Associate's degree or certification in CAD technology, drafting, engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a CAD Technician or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) and other relevant design tools.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and construction methods.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

**Working Conditions:**

* The role is remote.
* Occasional travel to project sites and client meetings may be required.

**Pay rate:**

* $16 - $22 per hour

**Expected hours:**

* 40 per week
