Chief Architect

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the enterprise-wide architectural vision, roadmap, and governance.

Design and oversee scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures for complex platforms.

Establish architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices across engineering teams.

Partner with executive leadership to align technology strategy with business goals and product direction.

Guide engineering teams in implementing architectural solutions effectively.

Evaluate, select, and integrate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms.

Ensure systems are optimized for performance, reliability, scalability, and seamless integration.

Drive enterprise architecture governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.

Mentor architects, engineers, and technical leaders to build a culture of technical excellence.

Promote cross-functional collaboration between business, product, and engineering teams.

Maintain clear documentation of architecture frameworks, design patterns, and decisions.

Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and architectural advancements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

15+ years of experience in software architecture or senior technical leadership roles.

Proven expertise in designing large-scale, distributed, and high-performance systems.

Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven, and distributed architectures.

Proficiency in Python and familiarity with multiple programming languages (Java, .NET, etc.).

Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and modern software development practices.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

Prior experience in a Chief Architect / Enterprise Architect / CTO-level role.

Expertise in cloud-native development, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience building and managing large, cross-functional technical teams.

Certifications in cloud or architecture domains.

Exposure to AI/ML, data engineering, and advanced analytics solutions.
