M.O.Daby Design is a residential design firm creating innovative, sustainable solutions for new builds, remodels, and adaptive reuse projects. We're looking for an experienced Chief Architect drafter to help us transition our drafting workflow from SketchUp/Layout to Chief Architect. This is a contract position based in the Portland, OR area with flexibility to work remotely, with occasional in-person and Zoom collaboration meetings. Proficiency in Chief Architect (and ideally familiarity with SketchUp/Layout)Strong attention to detail and understanding of residential construction documentsExperience creating or implementing office standards and templatesAbility to work independently and collaborate via Zoom for feedback/reviewsClear communication and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with sustainable design principles is a plus Remote/work-from-home with occasional in-person meetings in Portland, OR.
