Position Overview

Join our team as a Chief Enterprise Architect, where you will serve as a pivotal technical liaison between our development teams and various Medical Informatics departments. In this role, you will leverage your expert knowledge in medical informatics, enterprise IT infrastructure design, and clinical workflow to drive innovation and enhance our healthcare solutions.

This dynamic position requires adaptability in a multi-vendor environment, with a strong emphasis on staying informed about healthcare trends, regulations, and technological advancements.

As a Chief Enterprise Architect, you will engage with development, marketing, sales, technical support, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and project success across the entire order through remittance process. Building relationships and communication channels will be vital to your effectiveness in this role.

You will be the primary contact between Engineering/Development and Medical Informatics, overseeing new product initiatives, software updates, and information distribution.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical guidance for projects across Synapse product lines. Maintain comprehensive documentation on the interoperability of various Fujifilm product lines. Generate concise and accurate feature requests to define product specifications. Document and implement enterprise architectures effectively. Collaborate with development to refine features and address fixes in current products. Assist marketing in defining product specification requirements. Design and help develop serviceability tools for improved product deployment and troubleshooting. Architect and implement enterprise-level Synapse MI software solutions. Oversee deployment and troubleshooting of third-party hardware and software systems. Conduct leading-edge deployments and manage security and vulnerability issues. Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) Groups and forums from various departments. Participate in reviews of new implementations and upgrades. Act as a key resource for resolving large-scale issues. Engage in non-project related activities, including team presentations and cross-functional projects. Mentor and train peers, facilitating knowledge transfer. Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. Exhibit strong project leadership, time management, and communication skills. Comply with quality and regulatory standards, especially FDA regulations. Familiarize with ITIL Support Process Model. Stay current with Synapse and relevant IT products. Initiate and develop processes to enhance our platforms or workflows. Supervise and guide team members when requested. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. Be resourceful and decisive in problem-solving. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 12+ years of experience with Synapse products and solutions. Extensive experience in deploying various hardware and software infrastructures. Expert knowledge of VMWare or equivalent hypervisor technologies. Experience with storage solutions and protocols. Proven abilities in cloud architectures and deployments. Expertise in RDMS, Oracle, and associated technologies. Strong networking understanding. Experience with load balancers and content switch appliances. Ability to interpret and troubleshoot network captures. 12+ years collaborating with development teams as a primary contact. Extensive background in enterprise solution deployments. Knowledge of clinical data transfer protocols. Expertise in PACS and Clinical Information Systems. Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery. Strong technical documentation skills. Certifications relevant to the role are required. Physical Requirements:

The ability to sit for 75-100% of applicable work time. The ability to use hands for typing and manipulation of tools for up to 100% of applicable work time. The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time. The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds for up to 20% of applicable work time. This position is physically active, requiring standing, walking, bending, and climbing throughout the day. The ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds is essential.

Travel:

Occasional travel (up to 50%) may be necessary based on business needs. Please note that the successful candidate may be required to comply with COVID-19 vaccination mandates as applicable.
