Job Title: Systems Architect

Location: Tallahassee, Florida (Onsite 100%)

Duration: 1 yr, plus extension

Rate: W2 + CHP

Start Date: September, 2026

Candidates available immediately are preferred. Candidates are expected to work full-time and primarily onsite in Tallahassee, FL. Some remote work is acceptable and must be agreed upon by the agency.

Preferences will be given to candidates with the following:

•A financial background.

•Experience with the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) application.

•Experience with the Florida Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management (PALM)application.

•Candidates are required to attend in-person project

Primary Job Duties and Tasks:

a. Designs, implements, and maintains scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures within Amazon WebServices (AWS) to support enterprise applications and services.

b. Serves as a technical lead and subject matter expert for AWS cloud solutions, providing guidance to development, infrastructure, and security teams on best practices and architecture standards.

c. Develops and enforces cloud governance, architecture standards, and operational procedures as part of the Cloud Centerof Excellence (CCoE).

d. Automates infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
