Shape the future of the DoD's enterprise cloud. As a Cloud Architect on this program, you will evaluate Anything-as-a-Service (XaaS) offerings across AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle — from off-premises to tactical edge — and advise the government on the architecture decisions that drive warfighter cloud adoption.
How You'll Make an Impact Research Cloud Service Offering (CSO) technical feasibility against DoD demand signals and emerging requirements. Provide technical oversight and analysis of cloud architecture designs for security, performance, and mission alignment. Analyze XaaS offerings across multiple CSPs — off-prem, on-prem, hybrid, and tactical edge. Brief the DoD user community and lead round tables on cloud adoption and CSO implementation. Review CSP deliverables and JWCC utilization trends against commercial best practices. What You'll Need to Join the Team Bachelor's degree + 12 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design. Active TS/SCI clearance. Meets DoD 8140 requirements for Work Role 628, Software/Cloud Architect (Advanced). What Sets You Apart Multi-cloud architecture certifications across two or more CSPs (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI). Experience with DoD Cloud Computing SRG Impact Levels 4–6, tactical edge architectures, and hybrid cloud models.
