Position Overview

The Cloud Infrastructure Architect plays a crucial role in shaping and maintaining enterprise-scale, multitenant environments focused on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This dynamic position encompasses the entire lifecycle of cloud-based services, which includes infrastructure management, application development, testing, and operations. The Architect ensures that enterprise applications are integrated securely, efficiently, and at an optimal scale, supporting various clients while adhering to compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with customers by providing top-notch Oracle EBS services tailored to meet the unique needs of multiple users.

Design and implement robust multitenant environments based on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), ensuring scalability for diverse clients and seamless integration with trading partners.

Architect, deploy, and effectively manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, emphasizing resource isolation, scalability planning, and cost optimization.

Develop and enhance customizations for Oracle EBS, including forms, workflows, and integrations, ensuring that they align with specific client requirements while guaranteeing system integrity.

Build and oversee service-oriented integrations using Oracle SOA Suite, facilitating smooth data exchange between Oracle applications and third-party systems across both cloud and hybrid environments.

Lead strategies for data migration, including tooling and validation, to ensure a smooth transition of enterprise applications to the cloud with minimal disruption to business operations.

Implement and manage Cloud DevOps practices, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation frameworks in Oracle Customer Experience (CX) Cloud.

Administer Oracle Database environments, focusing on performance tuning and data optimization to ensure high availability for enterprise operations.

Apply enterprise security practices in accordance with CompTIA Security+ or equivalent standards, ensuring access control and compliance monitoring across all Oracle cloud layers.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

5+ years of experience in enterprise application engineering, cloud architecture, or systems development, with a focus on Oracle technologies.

Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) customization, extension, and administration in production environments.

Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture, deployment models, and managing multitenant environments.

Experience with Oracle SOA Suite for integration and workflow building, alongside Oracle Database administration.

CompTIA Security+ CE certification or an equivalent DoD 8140 intermediate-level qualification. If not held, must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Ability to obtain a Secret or Top-Secret security clearance or have at least completed a T5 investigation.

Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Database, or Oracle Application development.

Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks for Oracle Customer Experience Cloud or similar platforms.

Prior experience with multitenant cloud architectures emphasizing security, compliance, and performance for federal or highly regulated settings.

Familiarity with data migration methodologies for significant enterprise application transitions, including ETL processes and data validation frameworks.

Compensation Ranges

Compensation for this position varies based on various factors, including location, skills, education level, and certifications. The salary range is between $94,100 and $170,000, and represents a guideline unique to each role.
