Responsibilities

Client & Stakeholder Communication

· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients across all project phases, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear, consistent communication

· Facilitate timely and professional communication with owners, keeping them informed of project status, key decisions, and emerging issues

· Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders

Project Planning & Schedule Management

· Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules to keep work on track and on time

· Proactively identify scheduling risks or delays and implement corrective action as needed

· Participate in project planning and milestone reviews to ensure alignment across the team

Budget & Financial Management

· Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying variances to keep projects financially on target

· Communicate budget status and financial risks to firm leadership and stakeholders as appropriate

Team & Consultant Coordination

· Coordinate project staffing, aligning team resources with project needs and phase requirements

· Oversee consultant teams, ensuring deliverables are received on time and aligned with project requirements

· Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment

Quality Control & Construction Administration

· Schedule and execute quality reviews at appropriate project milestones to uphold firm standards

· Provide oversight of construction administration activities, ensuring the project is built in accordance with construction documents and design intent

Qualifications & Competencies

· Minimum 3 years Project Manager experience in an Architecture Firm required

· Minimum 5 years commercial architecture experience preferred

· Direct staff management experience required

· Commercial project experience required

· Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong presentation skills

· Experience with Revit preferred

· Experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools

· Demonstrated ability to perform calmly and effectively under pressure

· Strong capacity to create structure and clarity from complex situations

· Skilled in proactive planning, anticipating next steps, and managing competing priorities

Work Environment

· Full-time

· This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence with flexibility to work remotely.

· This role is based out of our satellite office space in Chicago and may require occasional travel to our headquarters in Naperville.

· Compensation: $85,000 – 120,000

· The salary range provided is a general guideline. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and overall alignment with the role and company needs.
