The successful candidate will have the option to work from any of our offices throughout the United States or remotely.Role accountabilities:Build computational models for various projectsBuild, maintain and improve computational workflows and products across the firmWork interoperably between many different platforms and formats including 3D modeling software, GIS, BIM, and software development environments.Work with a range of project related data sources and formats including environmental, economic, planning and demographic data.Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their needs and develop strategiesStay abreast of new and emerging technologies, best practices, and software applicationsBuild technical expertise across the firm and provide continuing educationCommunicate technical ideas in a verbally and graphically accessible mannerCreate presentation and report materials to support projectsBuild quality relationships with team members and across the organizationQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Computational Design, Interactive Media Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related fields (Master’s Degree preferred)Strong skills in Rhino and Grasshopper with demonstrated experience building and deploying complex parametric modelsKnowledge of programming languages (Python highly preferred) and experience using these to extend the capabilities of Grasshopper3+ years of relevant experience in a professional Urban Design, Planning, Landscape Architectural, or Architectural firm preferredProject portfolio showcasing parametric modelingAbility to multi-task with a keen eye for detail and precisionAbility to deliver in challenging project time frames and deadlinesExcellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skillsEagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary teamCritical thinking skills to develop innovative solutionsApplication Requirements :All applications must submit a portfolio showcasing their computational design experience with their application (maximum 10 pages)Selected applications will be asked to present a past computational design project for technical reviewWhy Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
