Construction Architect

We are seeking a Licensed/Project Architect to support commercial architectural projects from conceptual design through construction administration in Hoffman Estates, IL. This role is ideal for candidates who combine strong technical architectural skills with project coordination abilities and client-facing communication experience. Participate in conceptual design and project development initiativesSupport architectural projects through schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration phasesCoordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teamsDevelop technical documentation, reports, plans, and project specificationsAssist with project planning, occupancy studies, and design coordination effortsSupport consultant coordination, project communication, and technical problem solvingConduct site visits and support construction administration activitiesMaintain project schedules, documentation quality, and coordination standardsSupport multidisciplinary project execution across commercial architectural environmentsRepresent technical architectural viewpoints and contribute to project coordination discussions Professional Degree in Architecture requiredArchitectural License requiredMinimum 3–5 years of direct architectural experienceStrong architectural design and technical coordination experienceExperience supporting commercial architectural projectsStrong communication and consultant coordination skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong problem-solving and organizational abilitiesTeam-oriented and collaborative mindset Commercial architecture experience strongly preferredExperience supporting construction administration activitiesExperience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary project teamsStrong technical detailing and documentation backgroundClient-facing/project coordination experience preferred
