Data & Analytics Architect

Role: Senior Data & Analytics Architect – SQL Server, Power BI & Utility Operations

Location: Remote/Sacramento, California

Contract Duration: 4+Months

Remote with periodic onsite collaboration as requested by the Client

POSITION SUMMARY: The Client seeks an experienced Senior Data & Analytics Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of a Vegetation Management Database (VMD) platform utilizing Microsoft SQL Server.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, SQL Server development and analytics solutions.Expert-level Microsoft SQL Server experience.Strong data warehouse and dimensional modeling expertise.Experience with ETL design and data integration.Hands-on experience with Power BI, SSIS, SSRS or equivalent reporting technologies.Experience developing forecasting and predictive analytics solutions.Strong SQL query optimization and performance tuning experience.Experience conducting stakeholder workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in electric utilities, vegetation management, asset management or infrastructure operations.Experience integrating GIS/ESRI platforms.Experience integrating SAP, OMS or utility operational systems.Experience supporting wildfire mitigation programs.Knowledge of utility regulatory reporting requirements.Experience with Python, machine learning or advanced analytics.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
