Data Platform Architect

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Data Platform Architect will provide hands-on expertise in designing and architecting transactional solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer adoption and successful execution of Snowflake's solutions. Key responsibilities Convey the strategic advantages of Snowflake Postgres capabilities and address client inquiries to facilitate sales progression Articulate Snowflake's Postgres functionalities and provide comparative analyses with competitor offerings for prospective clients Develop and deliver tailored demonstrations that highlight Snowflake's value proposition regarding transactional functionalities Required qualifications 5+ years of Postgres architecture experience Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields preferred Strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences Knowledge of OLTP database technology (e.g., Snowflake, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server) Familiarity with indexing strategies for transactional workloads
