Department Manager - Architecture

Overview Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Department Manager to lead our Architecture department in Rochester, NY! Our team of talented and creative architects work closely as trusted partners with our clients throughout the design process to realize a jointly conceived vision. We offer a full range of services from preliminary planning and feasibility studies through final design and construction inspection for both full build-out, renovations and adaptive reuse projects. Reviews and manages operations of Architecture to ensure the quality of the technical products.Establishes effective long-range objectives, goals, and plans for Architecture discipline in Rochester, NY.Provides technical and management leadership to designers, drafters, and project managers.Develops marketing program in conjunction with Architecture discipline goals.Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required.Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects.Reviews monthly productivity and labor hour utilization-rates, reports and adjusts as needed.Assigns projects to staff and schedules work.Conduct Employee Performance Evaluations in accordance with company policy.
