Design Architect, 5-15 Years Experience

Marmon Mok Architecture is seeking a talented individual for our teams in Austin and San Antonio. This position requires a responsible individual who is passionate about design and the environment, a strong work ethic, and has a firm grasp on the technical aspects of commercial buildings, as well as a solid understanding of commercial construction practices. Typical responsibilities will include leading, supporting, and/or assisting in the development of design solutions, and oversight of design intent. Architecture program graduate from an accredited institution Creative, problem-solving mindset, and interest and passion for design Passionate and knowledgeable about current design trends Collaborative, proactive, curious, and professional Able to communicate design ideas via hand sketching and drawings Strong graphic abilities and design sense An understanding of how a building is assembled and how building systems are integrated An understanding of how a set of construction documents is organized An understanding of how building codes and regulations impact design concepts The following will be considered a plus:
