Design Architect

We seek a Designer at Heart who is deeply passionate about architecture, design, art, culture, and the built environment. As an Architectural Designer, you will help guide projects from concept through documentation while working closely with project leaders, consultants, and clients to deliver thoughtful, high-quality design solutions. Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program.4-7 years of professional architectural experience spanning design, documentation, and project delivery.Licensed Architect or actively pursuing architectural licensure is preferred.Strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, design development, and technical execution.Understanding of building systems, construction methodologies, detailing, applicable building codes, and regulatory requirements. Demonstrated curiosity, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and design excellence.Interest in contributing to firm initiatives, research, mentorship, community engagement, and the continued evolution of smbw's design culture.Experience with construction administration is preferred but not required.
