Design Architect - Federal Practice

As a Federal Design Architect, you will be an integral component of our Architecture/Engineering Practice. We are looking for an architect who is enthusiastic and motivated with responsibilities including design and documentation for a broad range of project types. In partnership with the Lead Architect and Designers, help support the planning and architectural design of federal and government projects, demonstrating the ability to develop design documents.Responsibilities include supporting the lead architect with code research, programming, design, documentation, specifications, narratives and construction administration including field visits to projects.May be required to research agency standards and requirements for design compliance.Supporting the team researching design solutions and industry best practices.Demonstrate creative problem-solving, organizational skills, strong production management capabilities, and a good understanding of construction documents and constructability.Coordination with all disciplines of design including our in house or subconsultant engineers and designersConduct building assessments and building surveysSupport the team with review, coordinate, and refine work produced by yourself and project team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
