Design Architect

Are you passionate about transforming spaces and creating innovative designs in the health and wellness sector? As a Design Architect, you will have the opportunity to lead and empower design efforts for small to medium-sized projects while contributing to larger, complex endeavors under the guidance of senior leadership. Collaborating across various disciplines, you will bring client visions to life through comprehensive typology studies, programming documents, site analyses, and cutting-edge design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engaging design charrettes and utilize hand sketching, modeling, and advanced digital tools to explore and effectively communicate design concepts.Develop high-quality design materials throughout all project phases, including typology studies, programming documents, site analyses, sketches, models, renderings, and compelling presentations.Refine and progress design direction to align with project goals, meet sustainability targets, and ensure code compliance.Work collaboratively with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors to guarantee technical compliance, seamless integration, and successful project execution.Oversee design implementation from concept through construction, ensuring adherence to design intent.Implement robust quality control measures to maintain accuracy in design documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.Mentor junior staff, promote cross-disciplinary collaboration, and actively participate in firmwide design critiques and outreach initiatives.Qualifications:

Degree in Architecture or related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of architectural design experience, specifically in healthcare.Proficient in design software including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BSD Spec Link.A strong portfolio that showcases design excellence, technical skills, and leadership experience across projects.At Progressive Companies, we know that diverse backgrounds, knowledge, and experiences enrich our organization and enhance our projects.
