Design Director or Sr. Architect

b.hills architecture is seeking a highly experienced Director of Design or Senior Architect to step into a leadership role in our Boise ID office. As a Director of Design, you will collaborate with the firm Principal to develop beautiful, functional and innovative building and site designs beginning with Conceptual presentations, Schematic Design and Entitlement submittals. Your work ethic and technical knowledge combined with professional business and communication skills will enable you to mentor junior staff, manage client relationships and contribute to firm growth and our reputation as a responsive, top-tier design team. Licensed / Registered ArchitectBachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program10+ years of relevant architecture and design experienceComputer 3D modeling and drafting (Revit preferred)Full knowledge of architectural principles and practicesWorking knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structuresExperience with the entire project life cycle and design process through Construction AdministrationFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentA quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent written & verbal communication and management skills to include leadership, organization, and client relationship management skillsWell-rounded, strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management, and technical project resolutionConscientious in your work with attention to detail & accuracy Your Salary / Compensation
