Design Professional (2-4 years experience)

PIVOT Architecture seeks a design professional with 2–4 years of experience. We are searching for a candidate with a passion for good design, a spirit of collaboration, and an eagerness to learn and contribute to a lively work environment. Work in a team-based environment where you are an active member in all phases of project development Be engaged in a wide variety of projects including education, adaptive reuse, multi-modal transit facilities, workspaces, affordable housing, and public and private development Work collaboratively with our firm to apply your creative, critical thinking skills to our project work Bring an eye for detail, the ability to listen and translate client needs, and the ability to iterate design ideas Develop a fluency to work independently and across multiple project teams Contribute to our founding design ethos of "strong bones, warm heart" Contribute to outcomes that consider environmental impacts, client goals, and spatial delight Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Communicates clearly and effectively — verbally and in writing — with project teams, clients, and consultants Manages assigned tasks with care for schedule, detail, and quality, and keeps the project team informed along the way Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the Eugene, OR area Growth and Opportunity Established in Eugene, Oregon in 1956, the firm has experience with a wide variety of project types and services.
