What You'll Do Support the design team in developing retail design concepts from project initiation through completion, aligning with brand standards and client objectivesProduce high-quality renderings, photo-realistic visuals, and Photoshop compositions that bring retail environments and brand experiences to lifeTranslate brand identity into compelling visual storytelling through immersive renderings, material overlays, and presentation graphicsAssist in developing concept packages and client presentations that clearly communicate design intent, customer experience, and merchandising strategiesContribute to customer journey mapping, bubble diagrams, and spatial studies that define program layout, adjacencies, and circulation within retail environmentsSupport space planning efforts, including fixture layouts, merchandising zones, and back-of-house functionsAssist in the production and coordination of architectural drawings for retail tenant improvements and prototype rolloutsImplement markups and revision changes with accuracy, ensuring alignment with brand standards, landlord criteria, and applicable codesParticipate in all phases of retail projects, including site adaptation, programming, schematic design, design development and construction documentationCollaborate with internal teams and external consultants to integrate design, technical, and brand requirementsContribute to the development and refinement of visualization standards, rendering workflows, and presentation quality across retail projects A professional degree in Architecture or equivalent experienceAdvanced proficiency in Photoshop and SketchUp; Working knowledge of RevitExperience using Revit for retail rollout projectsExcellent verbal and written communicationDeadline driven with strong attention to detailExperience with other design software such as Bluebeam and RhinoExperience with site surveys is preferredCurrently being in pursuit of licensure is a plus MBH Architects offers the best of both worlds: the resources of a top-tier firm with the supportive culture of a close-knit team.
