Design Project Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of client, team, and project coordination; ensure comprehensive documentation collaboration with various consultants, including structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, and more.Work with the team to tackle complex technical and design challenges, producing innovative and feasible solutions.Direct the generation of drawings, specifications, and manage construction administration tasks.Ensure documents express design intent while maintaining top-notch technical quality.Handle submittals and substitution requests during construction and respond to RFIs efficiently.Engage with building and permitting officials across all stages of the project from permitting to construction.Manage client expectations while facilitating effective team communication and consultant coordination.Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or a related field (required).Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or a related field (preferred).Licensed Architect with over 6 years of professional experience in Architecture.Experience managing diverse project types; experience in collegiate projects is a plus.Solid understanding of building codes, zoning laws, jurisdictional procedures, construction materials, specifications, and construction techniques.Proficient in construction document preparation and field observation.Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).Highly proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and various 3D modeling software.LEED accreditation is preferred.Able to manage multiple concurrent projects at various development stages.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on client relationship management.Why Join Us?
