Design Project Manager (Architect)

As a Design Project Manager on Hutton’s Design + Build team, you’ll use your creativity and expertise to shape projects that influence how communities live, work, and connect. Model Hutton’s cultural values: lead, inspire, respect, construct.Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and project teams.Lead project design from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with budget, code, and owner expectations.Prepare drawings, specifications, and design documents using BIM and other tools.Coordinate and manage engineering consultants and project team members.Oversee risk management, including code compliance, check set review, and contract documents.Deliver design information, FF&E, and technical details within project timelines.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program required. Master’s degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program preferred.5+ years of experience as an architect preferred (with alternative licensure path).Experience in Healthcare design and project management preferred. Experience visualizing and presenting design concepts.Ability to develop creative solutions and contribute innovative design ideas.Understanding of healthcare related codes, design standards, and AHJ approval processes.
