Designer - Architect

Designer – Architect (Hybrid) Detroit, Michigan We are partnering with a design-driven architecture firm seeking a Designer - Architect to support design efforts across a range of complex architectural projects. This hybrid position is based in Detroit and offers the opportunity to grow within a collaborative studio environment while working on impactful, design-focused projects. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate on design efforts across all project phases, from conceptual design through construction documentation • Develop design concepts, space plans, and design solutions across a variety of project types • Prepare drawings, visualizations, and client presentations that clearly communicate design intent • Assist with material and product selections and support specification development • Apply knowledge of building codes, accessibility (ADA), and construction methods to ensure quality and compliance • Support project teams during construction administration, including RFIs, site visits, and punch lists • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while working independently and as part of a team You’ll gain exposure to diverse, high-impact projects while receiving mentorship and support for continued professional growth and licensure.
