Director Architecture

Works closely with the business and technical teams to create scalable, flexible, and well documented data architecture that enables database designs. Formulates data strategy, conceptual architecture, and works with development teams to execute the strategy. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and (or foreign education equivalent) six (6) years of experience as a Director, Architecture (or closely related occupation) designing and developing scalable and resilient architectures in a financial services environment, using Cloud technologies (AWS). Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Architecture (or closely related occupation) designing and developing scalable and resilient architectures in a financial services environment, using Cloud technologies (AWS). DE evaluating and prototyping data technologies in data management tools (Informatica, Collibra, or Alation), AWS tools (Athena, Batch, DynamoDB, or Amazon Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) and Snowflake; designing high availability data architecture solutions for disaster recovery using Cloud technologies - AWS or Snowflake; and creating data architecture blueprints using ETL tools and real time RESTful APIs.
