Director of Architecture — Run the Studio. Build the Branch. Own the Market.

$110K–$150K + Profit Sharing | 4-Day Work Week

This isn't a seat where you wait your turn behind three layers of principals. It's the top job for an entire branch, and we're handing the keys to one licensed leader who wants to build something with their name on it.

You'll run the studio, lead the office, and own the market. The design work, the team, the P&L, the client relationships, and the local brand all roll up to you. If you've been the person quietly making your office run while someone else carried the title, this is the title.

What You'll Actually Do

You'll set the pace for a multidiscipline team and protect the quality of what goes out the door. You'll scope projects, shape fee proposals, sit across from clients, and close the work. You'll lead the weekly planning that keeps staffing, schedules, and resources pointed in the right direction, and you'll resolve the operational and technical knots before they become problems.

You'll mentor the next generation of design professionals and decide who's on your bench. And because growth is the mandate, you'll be the face of the firm in the community—building the strategic marketing plans and local relationships that fill the pipeline for years, and coaching your team to do the same.

It's three jobs in one: studio leader, branch manager, market builder. The right person reads that as opportunity, not overload.

Who We're Looking For

A licensed Architect or Engineer with 10+ years in the trade and the scars to prove it. Someone who's run multidiscipline projects through every phase of design and construction. A natural leader people want to follow, with the organizational discipline to keep a dozen plates spinning and the people instinct to know which one matters most today.

You're comfortable in front of a client, in front of a crowd, and at the head of a conference table. You've got the emotional intelligence to develop people and the business sense to grow a book. A bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus prior experience running office operations and managing staff, rounds out the picture.
