Director of Architecture & Engineering Services

Must be a Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer with 10+ years of experience and a bachelors degree in architecture or engineering and 1+ year Federal Government Contract experience. We are a full service Architecture and Engineering and Design Build firm supporting U.S. Government clients across the United States and globally. Lead delivery and performance across multiple Architecture and Engineering projects, with accountability for quality, cost, schedule, and client satisfactionManage, mentor, and develop Project Managers and technical staff across architecture and engineering disciplinesServe as Project Manager on key contracts as needed and ensure teams execute from design concepts through construction documentsPartner closely with federal clients and internal leadership to drive outcomes and build long term relationshipsCoordinate across architects, engineers, and specialty consultants to keep teams aligned and deliver consistentlyIdentify and support new business opportunities in the region in partnership with business development and executive leadershipStandardize best practices and lessons learned across studios to improve delivery consistency and team effectivenessForecast and allocate resources across projects to maximize efficiency and execution qualityCoach and grow leaders within the team, building a strong bench for future growthQualifications citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearanceStrong command of building and design codes including IBC and structural design standardsExperience leading multidisciplinary teams delivering complex projectsPreferred experience delivering federal Design Build contracts providing Architecture and Engineering servicesPreferred familiarity with Whole Building Design Guide, Unified Facilities Criteria, and Unified Facilities Guide SpecificationsPreferred proficiency with Revit plus AutoCAD, BIM, and MicroStation toolsWhy You Will Love Working Here You will be trusted to lead, build, and improve a design practice that supports real world mission outcomes.
