Director of IT Architecture

Leading the IT architecture strategy for a dynamic healthcare organization, the full-time Director of IT Architecture will design systems that align with business goals and regulatory requirements while managing a team of IT Network, Cloud, and Systems Architects, all in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Define and execute a comprehensive IT architecture strategy aligned with business and operational goals Oversee the design and implementation of network, cloud, and systems architecture to ensure high performance and security Act as the primary liaison between IT architecture teams and leadership, translating business needs into technology strategies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field 10+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a healthcare organization Strong experience with network architecture, including SD-WAN, VPNs, and network security protocols Proven expertise in cloud architecture, particularly with AWS and hybrid cloud solutions Demonstrated history of implementing modern platform visibility solutions such as DataDog or New Relic
