This is a full-time, in-office position supporting the production of high-quality construction documents for custom residential and commercial projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical drafting skills who enjoys working in a structured, collaborative production environment. )Implement redlines and revisions efficiently and accuratelyMaintain drawing standards, file organization, and version controlAssist in code research and basic zoning analysis as directedSupport QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of drawingsMeet deadlines and manage time effectively across multiple projectsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:3-5 years of experience in residential drafting or architectureProficiency in AutoCADStrong proficiency in Bluebeam RevuWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Microsoft OfficeStrong understanding of residential construction methods and detailingWorking knowledge of applicable building codes (California experience preferred)Ability to read and interpret redlines and markups clearlyHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsEffective communication and team collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple active projects and production priorities at oncePREFERRED:Familiarity with local permitting processes in CA jurisdictionsExposure to consultant coordinationExperience working in a fast-paced, small firm environmentExperience with custom residential and multifamily projectsCOMPENSATION:$28-$36 per hour, depending on experience, licensure, technical strength, and leadership capabilityBENEFITS:Paid time offPaid holidays401(k)Opportunities for long-term leadership growthProfessional, design-focused office environmentJOB DETAILS :FLSA Classification: NonexemptLocation: On-site in Folsom, CAWork Environment: Primarily works in an office environment, performing tasks such as planning, designing, reviewing drawings, and administrative duties.
