Role Description The Drafting Technician will support project teams by producing accurate and detailed architectural drawings and technical documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing plans, sections, exterior elevations, assembly pages and details; updating drawing sets based on design changes; and coordinating documentation with architects and consultants. The role involves reviewing drawings for consistency and code-related requirements, organizing digital files, and maintaining drawing standards across projects. This is a contract role with a hybrid work arrangement, based in Minneapolis, MN, with work-from-home flexibility depending on project needs and deadlines.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing, with attention to accuracy and detail.Candidates should possess skills in preparing and interpreting Architectural Drawings for various project phases.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.Candidates should possess foundationalProficiency in CAD is a must.Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and related documentation.Strong organizational skills, including file management, version control, and adherence to office drawing standards.Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements in a hybrid work environment.
