Draftsman

Draftsman PositionSoutheast Texas HR is seeking an experienced Draftsman to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a leader in recruiting and HR services, our company has a reputation for excellence in selecting top talent. You must be comfortable working at an adjustable table and a computer terminal. This will be a temp-to-perm position for the ideal candidate. This job is a Monday - Friday days position and pay will be $19+ per hour.Responsibilities:Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawingsPrepare both sketches and detailed work with AutoCAD systemsPerform calculations for materials and weight limitationsCommunicate with team and incorporate knowledge gained into drawingsPrepare, review and redraft alongside the engineering teamEnsure final designs meet all compliance requirementsPerform all other duties and responsibilities as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required.2 or more years of draftsman experience.2 or more years of working AutoCAD experience.Excellent computer skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Good communication and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
