As a Restoration Architect, you will support the management and coordination of architects and engineers while contributing to team organization, mentorship, and project execution. Lead multiple complex projects, including historic preservation and landmark-designated propertiesCoordinate team organization, staffing, and project planningManage façade, plaza, roof, and garage restoration projects from inception through completionOversee building envelope investigations and develop restoration design solutionsPrepare and manage Local Law 11 (FISP) reports, including site inspections, documentation of conditions, and DOB submissionsConduct field inspections via ground, roof access, lifts, and supported/suspended scaffoldingContribute to architectural design and real estate development initiativesProduce and review construction documents, including plans, details, and specificationsEnsure compliance with Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) requirements and coordinate submissionsLead contractor walkthroughs during bidding and evaluate proposalsReview payment applications, change orders, and construction schedules for accuracy and complianceSupport business development efforts by cultivating new opportunities and maintaining client relationshipsAssist in proposal development, including project scoping and staff/time allocation EDG offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including: Competitive compensation with annual bonus opportunitiesCompany-subsidized medical coverage, as well as dental, vision, and FSA optionsClassPass wellness benefits401(k) plan with employer matchGenerous paid time off, including company “bonus” daysCompany-sponsored events and team-building activitiesProfessional development and training programsAdditional benefits provided in accordance with New York employment standards
