Job Title: Enterprise Architect

Job Overview:

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our client to guide large-scale modernization efforts and define technology strategies that advance organizational objectives. This hybrid role based in Harrisburg, PA involves leading enterprise architecture initiatives, optimizing cloud and on-premises environments, and ensuring alignment between business goals and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, helping to shape secure, scalable solutions that support digital transformation and enhance service delivery across the enterprise. This is a contract opportunity with standard business hours.

Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Key Responsibilities of the Enterprise Architect:

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and reference models that promote consistency and innovation.

• Lead modernization and migration strategies for legacy applications, ensuring successful transitions to cloud-native or hybrid environments.

• Design and oversee integrations with platforms such as Azure, Salesforce, and Appian, ensuring interoperability, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align IT strategies with organizational goals, balancing long-term scalability with immediate operational needs.

• Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, reviewing solution designs and promoting best practices in architecture governance.

• Research emerging technologies, evaluate their potential business impact, and recommend implementation strategies to improve efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications and Skills for the Enterprise Architect:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent combination of training and experience (10+ years in IT architecture).

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in enterprise architecture, application modernization, and technology strategy.

• Proven expertise in cloud solution design and implementation, preferably within Azure environments.

• Strong background in API development, secure system integrations, and adherence to enterprise security frameworks.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights for diverse audiences.

• Familiarity with low-code and cloud platforms such as Appian and Salesforce is preferred.

• Certifications such as TOGAF 9.x or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
