Reporting to senior IT leadership, the Enterprise Architect serves as both a strategic advisor and hands‑on solution architect for major initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Architecture Strategy & GovernanceDefine and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks to align technology solutions with business objectivesEstablish architecture standards, design principles, and governance processesDevelop and maintain current-state and future-state architecture roadmapsEnsure consistency, scalability, and sustainability of enterprise technology solutionsSolution Architecture & Technical LeadershipServe as the primary solution architect for complex, enterprise-wide initiativesProvide guidance on system design, integration strategies, and technology selectionOversee architecture decisions across application, data, infrastructure, and cloud environmentsEnsure solutions are secure, interoperable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standardsAI Strategy & Emerging TechnologiesLead the development and implementation of applied AI strategyEstablish governance frameworks for responsible AI adoption, including risk management, transparency, and complianceEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical adoption strategiesGuide the integration of AI capabilities into enterprise systemsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to align technology strategy with organizational goalsSupport modernization initiatives, including system consolidation and technical debt reductionCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with risk and security requirementsProvide architectural oversight across departments and projectsArchitecture Planning & OversightDevelop reference architectures and design patterns across key domains (cloud, integration, data, applications, AI)Assess existing systems to identify risks, redundancies, and improvement opportunitiesSupport strategic planning and budgeting by aligning investments with architecture roadmapsMaintain architecture documentation to support long‑term sustainability and knowledge sharingCore Areas of OwnershipEnterprise architecture strategy and governanceSolution architecture across multiple technology domainsSystems integration and interoperabilityData architecture and information strategyCloud and hybrid infrastructure architectureAI strategy, governance, and implementationTechnology lifecycle planning and modernizationMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or related leadership rolesStrong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, systems integration, cloud technologies, data architecture, and AI-enabled technologiesExperience aligning technology strategy with organizational goals in complex environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience leading or building enterprise architecture programsBackground in large-scale or complex operational environmentsExperience supporting enterprise platforms such as ERP systems or large-scale service applicationsExperience developing governance frameworks for emerging technologies, including AIStrong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersRelevant certifications (TOGAF, cloud architecture certifications, or similar)Additional RequirementsAbility to obtain and maintain required background clearances as applicableValid driver's license (if required for role responsibilities)Strong communication and collaboration skillsWork EnvironmentStandard full-time schedule with flexibility based on organizational needsMay require additional hours to support critical initiatives or operational demandsCompensation depends on experience but is typically $127k-195k/year DOE.
