What you will do: As an Enterprise Solution Architect within Cengage Digital, you will play a pivotal role in guiding architectural direction across multiple Core System platforms. You will mentor teams, drive architectural best practices, and collaborate within a dynamic Agile environment. Joining the Cengage architecture council, you will partner with fellow architects to integrate insights and standard methodologies to enhance our enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain architecture documentation representing current and future states. Analyze and present solutions aligned with business needs, ensuring timely and efficient implementation. Champion data literacy and foster insight-driven execution across technical and business teams. Lead the development of enterprise data architectures to support real-time insights and strategic business outcomes. Collaborate with various stakeholders to innovate solutions and propagate best practices. Effectively communicate technical concepts in relatable terms for diverse audiences. Support the implementation of enterprise initiatives that promote business growth. Manage multiple priorities with meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of systems development and operational scenarios. Essential Skills: 10+ years of overall IT experience. 10+ years of experience in systems or application development with OO languages like C# or Java. 3+ years of experience in an architectural role. Strong expertise in modernizing architecture, improving cloud capabilities, and integrating legacy systems with cloud-native solutions. Proven experience in designing secure, scalable enterprise systems with CI/CD and automated testing for global applications. Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration for the deployment of AI solutions. Experience with service-oriented and component-based architectures. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases. Understanding of software development life cycles and design principles. Experience in proving new technology concepts. Experience in indirect people management. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or a combination of education and relevant work experience. This position includes eligibility for an annual incentive bonus based on individual performance and company results.
