Entry-Level Architectural Designer

Studio Rallou is a San Diego-based architecture and design studio specializing in hospitality and residential projects. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Architectural Designer to join our growing studio.

This is a great opportunity for an emerging designer who wants hands-on experience across all phases of a project and is excited to grow their technical skills while working in a small, collaborative studio environment. You’ll work directly with the Principal and our design team on active restaurant, hospitality, and residential projects throughout Southern California.

What You’ll Do

Assist with architectural drawings and documentation in Revit
Develop existing-condition models from site measurements, iGUIDE scans, and point cloud information
Assist with schematic design, design development, and construction documents
Produce plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation materials
Incorporate redlines and drawing updates accurately and efficiently
Assist with material, finish, fixture, and furniture sourcing
Help prepare client presentations and design packages
Coordinate project information with consultants and vendors
Assist with site documentation and project organization
Support studio marketing and social media efforts as needed

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field
2–4 years of professional experience
Working knowledge of Revit; candidates should have a basic foundation and a strong desire to become highly proficient
Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
Understanding of architectural drawings and documentation
Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and follow through on assigned tasks
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a small studio where responsibilities can vary from day to day
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in hospitality, restaurant, and residential design

Bonus Skills

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape or other rendering software, point clouds/iGUIDE, material sourcing, or social media content creation is a plus.
