Entry-Level Preservation Architect

We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Preservation Architect to join our team in Washington As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while adhering to local and national preservation standards This position is ideal for a fresh graduate or someone with limited experience in the field No English language skills are required for this role however proficiency in Malayalam is preferredRequirementsBachelors or Masters degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservationKnowledge of local and national preservation laws and standardsAbility to read and interpret architectural plans and drawingsStrong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills in MalayalamEnglish proficiency is a plusPrior experience or internships in historic preservation is preferred but not requiredSalary $1400 per month negotiable based on experienceLocation Washington accommodation not providedAs an Entry-Level Preservation Architect you will work closely with senior architects and project managers on various restoration projectsYour responsibilitiesconducting site visitscreating preservation planspreparing reportscollaborating with contractors and other stakeholders involved in the projectWe are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about preserving historical buildings and has a strong understanding of architectural principles This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in the field of historic preservation#J-18808-Ljbffr
