Role: Java Developer

Location - Milwaukee, WI or Grand Rapids, MI- Onsite (remote option available for excellent resource)

Type: Contract/Full time both

Need 20-30% travel

Principal Accountabilities:
• Develop software with Java EE for projects with Client standard warehouse control system.
• Design and development software solutions according to Client established software standards and procedures
• Assist project and technical engineers to integrate the more complex software components into Dematic warehouse systems
• Design and perform software tests using standard Dematic testing framework
• Provide technical support to customers on-site
• Train customers and key-users on installed applications
• Estimate time to complete of new and existing development tasks
• Maintain a good relationships with all internal and external customers, through provision of a high quality service
• Deliver projects and tasks on time and within budget
• Work within an Agile environment
• Lead a value engineering approach to ensure cost efficient solutions are designed that achieve company goals for profit, service and support
• Attend site during software commissioning phases to ensure that integration testing and site acceptance testing is completed as required
• Willingness to travel; 10% - 20% is a necessity

Required Technical Competencies:
• Java programming experience
• Knowledge of Application Servers (Wildfly, Glassfish)
• Knowledge of Relational Databases (Oracle, SQL)
