The mission of the Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public through the registration and regulation of the practice of architecture in Oregon. OSBAE was created by the Oregon Legislature in 1919 to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public through the registration and regulation of the practice of architecture in Oregon. Agency staff provide administrative, investigative, and financial services to the Board and assist applicants with the registration process.
