Facilities Principal Architect

Leadership and Staff Management Manages the activities of the section; plans, prioritizes, assigns, and reviews the work of staff involved in facility project management and property management/leasing. Facility Planning, Design, and Project Management Leads and oversees the design of facility improvements and architectural design projects, including concept development, all phases of the design process, contract administration and project close‑out. Manages the implementation of the Public Buildings and Facilities Improvement Program, the Facility Condition report, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and City greenhouse gas reduction initiatives and related strategies for city buildings and capital infrastructure. License: Valid Oregon driver’s license (or the ability to obtain by date of hire); must pass driving records check and maintain a driving record that meets the City’s standard. The City will pay a 3% contribution to a deferred compensation program if the employee contributes at least 1%.
